Fashion Practitioner Case Study

& Work Placement

This module has been an opportunity to increase my knowledge of the individuals who shape and create the world of fashion communication. The project aimed to further develop my research and presentation skills as well as prepare me for work placement. I had selected a fashion practitioner of my choice, (Fashion Stylist, Brand Manager, Press Assistant, Fashion Editor, Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, Art Director to name but a few) and then use a range of research skills to gather information about the practice and work of the creative. This has included primary and secondary research from multiple sources, this will also be fully Harvard referenced.

 

The purpose of the work placement was to enable me to develop professional attributes as well as subject and transferable skills through experience in the workplace, and to critically reflect upon my learning in that context. I have arranged my own placement with duration of  70 hours.
